Yep same anon again hope I'm not bugging you haha!!! I think it's kinda cool how much you enjoy that pilot. I liked it too, but you love it so much you draw it (good art) and took the time make gifs and other fan post stuff. When you joked about being a one person fandom it wasn't much of a joke. You're actually doing all that! Makes me think there's hope out there for everyone who creates something even if it failed to sell for years. There will always be at least one superfan and that's worth making for.

You’re not bugging me at all! I don’t get very many asks, and I LOVE talking to people! This is so damn sweet and YOU’RE SO RIGHT!!! When I first made that “Can a fandom be only one person? Let’s find out!” half-joke-post, I did so KNOWING that I was going to be making edits, gifs, fanfics, fan art, and piles of posts about this thing!

All those “essential” fandom business is (at least currently) all on me, AND I’M HAVING SO MUCH FUN!!! If more people join in, that would be cool! If no one else does, that’s fine too! Like, I’ve been drawing my OCs for no one but myself for literally years now, so spending energy and having fun with something pretty much no one else cares about isn’t anything new to me! It’s chill!

AND OH YEAH YOU’RE RIGHT ABOUT THAT LAST PART!!! I’ve thought about that too! I’ve done some reflection and drew some fair comparisons to how I’ve become such a fan of something that got left on a forgotten/unknown shelf for over 20+ years; and how my own original works I pour so much into go largely unnoticed too. If someone like me can become such a huge fan of a short 8 minute pilot from 2001, ANYONE can have a fan of their work out there somewhere!

Pretty inspiring, if I’m being honest.
