Architectura sacra
Architectura sacra, etiam architectura religiosa appellata, est facultas architecturae religiosae quae designationem et constructionem locorum venerationis vel spatiorum sacrorum tractat, sicut ecclesiarum, mescitaarum, stuparum, synagogarum, templorum. Multae culturae suis architecturae sacrae locisque venerationis magnopere faverunt. Spatia sacra et religiosa inter gravissima et diutissima aedificia magnifica et splendida ab hominibus excogitata et exstructa numerantur. E converso, architectura sacra etiam esse potest locus non magnificus, brevis valdeque privatus, personalis et non publicus.
Structurae sacrae et religiosae saepe nonnulla saecula augebantur, et erant altissima orbis terrarum aedificia antequam caeliscalpia hodierna exstruebantur. Inclinationes variorum architecturae sacrae generum inclinationes in aliis structuris aliquando imitantur, sed haec artis genera etiam unica manserunt, a generibus architecturae in aliis structuris adhibitis manifeste distincta.
