Synonyma
* Terricola Hallez, 1857
Geoplanidae sunt familia praedatoriorum platyhelminthium terrestrium superfamiliae Geoplanoideorum. Species alia invertebrata plerumque praedant, quae vi corporea atque adhaesivis digestoriisque eorum muci proprietatibus venantur, oppugnant, capiunt, edunt.[2] Mechanationes quae aquam retineant tam carent ut variationibus humiditatis in circumiectis naturalibus mox respondeant.[3]
