Your system for handling government does not allow for the Governors General that Commonwealth countries have: Canada, Australia, etc.

@Varlaam: Correct. It does not. We are trying to make those infoboxes as low-maintenance as possible. We don't have many regular contributors here, and a lot of the infoboxes here were tremendously outdated. So I switched to a Wikidata-based infobox set. But it's a headache to start adding conditionals: if there is a Governor General, then we add it ... and the only place in Wikidata to find the Governor General (or Lieutenant Governor, if we're going to carry that further) is as a proxy to the head of state. FWIW, the Wikidata item for "United States" does not have both a "Head of State" and a "Head of Government". I did jury-rig that one. (This just proves that one size never really fits all.)
