“We’re going tomorrow night.” Mila says to you. She’s been raving about this band for the longest time. “Taro is opening for them!”
You pull up your head from the kitchen table, you got home 20 minutes ago from working at the club and your head hurts. She knows you love Taro which is why she used that against you. “Fine. I’m not working tomorrow anyway.”
She claps her hands together. “Maybe you could wear what you’re wearing now! Your bodysuit looks cute. Did they tip you for handing them drinks.”
You smile, remembering it was a busy Thursday. “Yea, a bachelor party came in, and although I think they’re absolute pigs, they do tip a shit ton.”
I think its funny that I would review my own work, but I was re reading some of my works (because Im hoping it will give me inspiration) and why did the last time almost make me cry ;-;

There were some secrets you kept close to your heart. You had to, because if they knew, he’d disappear.
You were born into an influential and wealthy family. It was all you really knew. You went to school at a relatively normal place but that was only after begging and promising that you would continue to go to church every Sunday.
That was probably one of your best and worst decisions. It’s where you met him, Sakusa Kiyoomi, star volleyball player and overall introvert.
I will be thinking about this fic until further notice. Kuroo’s friendship but also his loss of his true love pulls at the heartstrings constantly. How he is always constantly there but also grieving the loss of the love of his life, while also taking on the care of his child. THEN on top of that, the unconditional love for both his wife and child. Sakusa’s and y/n’s love for each other HURT ME. The constant back and forth of forbidden love HURTS. BUT ITS SO GOOD. The way it’s described in this fic is honestly one of my favorite depictions of forbidden love I’ve ever read. When Sakusa leaves, when y/n marries, when y/n has a child and Sakusa isn’t there, when we learn what really happens and when they meet again by chance. The way this unfolds brings me to tears by the end of this fic. This is absolutely beautiful and well written.
