WHY DID A MOM SNEAK HER 5YO CHILD INTO MY SHOWING AT THE LAST 30 MINUTES WHAT THE HELL😭

Holy fuck what a picture. On every technical level alone it is masterful. For this to only be Coralie Fargeat’s second feature length is unreal, displaying an eye for direction that just feels so extremely COOL.

Its batshit, it’s weird, it’s everything.

One thing that stood out to me especially was the sound design. It is unforgiving, rattling in your skull with gallons of goop and glass. It elevates every single quick moment, cut, zoom; so brilliantly playing hand in hand.

The special effects and makeup departments good lord. If I don’t see nominations for hundreds of awards these ARTISTS then the world is truly doomed. 

Performances are stunning and hard hitting, everyone shines in their own freaky or confident way. Like just wow man…wow

Now I gotta rant a little because some asshole decided to walk in to the movie late and pull out his phone on max brightness and use a STYLUS and was like filing paperwork or some shit are you kidding me. Had to go get help from an employee and miss some of the movie man that was just so insane.

And yeah some mom actually brought her kid into the movie at the most insane ending ever. That child is actually fucked up forever now, why would you do that. transformers one was next door😭
