  What a beautiful, earnest film. Something like this could easily turn sickly sweet in a way that feels deeply inauthentic, but this movie is sincere in a way that really worked. If you need a shot of kindness, find a screening of this ASAP.

  Lovely middle-aged, multi-language rom-rom. Appreciated the softer bodies of the leads. It is a sweet movie, lots of heart. Good for beating back the dark.

  This is a baffling film. Some aspects are so, so good and intriguing. But it's wrapped in this comedy that DOES NOT WORK at all and that feels like some shitty 80s movie (sex worker dies during a BJ and then her pimp asks for increasing amounts of money). I am so bummed, because I think if that had been removed, it could have been a really interesting look at death. Gah. I hate it when a movie is RIGHT THERE and then fully tanks the execution.
