I applaud the way they knitted in 17 year old storylines from The Incredible Hulk (2008). And using the celestial from the Eternals (2021) as a main source of conflict as well as a possible setup for the weapon X program. That’s fairly impressive to work into Winter Soldier Lite.
That after credit stinger sure felt like a remnant of the scrapped Kang Dynasty stuff. Now it’s just vague spooky statements with no teeth.
Kind of nice, quaint coming of age story.

Knowing it’s a Kenneth Branagh film the opulence is expected. The surprise is more in the speed, the pacing specifically, of the story that is crammed into 2 hours. It feels oddly relentless. Especially with all the elaborate camera moves. Somebody showed Branagh a 360 degree steadycam shot and that might have been a mistake.
