Jim Caddick’s review published on Letterboxd:
Far from terribly made and with a few fascinating testimonies from ex-app developers, but way too over-dramatic with cheesy reconstructions and cringey acted representations of how algorithms work to take seriously. The Social Dilemma seems to be made for a specific kind of person that is so naive and unaware of the power that exists in their pockets, that it often comes across as patronising for anybody else that SHOULD already know exactly how manipulative all of these systems are. Sometimes it’s easy to forget that the general mainstream population is selfish and stupid, too.
