Relentless, thrilling, and hilariously stupid, bolstered by some truly insane camerawork and an unsurprisingly bonkers Jake Gyllenhaal performance.

WAY too long though, with a bloated, bombastic final act that stretches the film’s already thin premise to its absolute limit. The day Hollywood learns that this kind of film is always better when it gets the job done in a lean, mean ninety minutes is the day I’ll know peace.
