While still imaginative and creative, the animation is a bit thin and dull, but Lasster didn't quite have the luxuries that come with helming a feature-length film.
Just like Lady and the Lamp, this feels a bit unfinished, and really isn't all that interesting to watch. I do love the shading here though, which looks really good and does a great job of setting the mood of the short. Besides that, though, there's not much here.

Did I just spend the last 15 minutes trying to watch every film directed by John Lasseter so I could have a 100% on him. Yes. Yes I did.
Also monsters sometimes feel scared. This was a heartwarming story.

Some clever ideas. I'm not a huge fan of pencil tests. I like the way he used the dark to make it look more finished though. Some strange sound effects in this. I love the credits!
