i think elemental is so much more just another modern disney movie, no more shallow exploration of social issues - it tackles systematic racism and familial expectations head on and simultaneously creates a beautiful love story between two very realistic characters (also lol at the 0 earth placement characters ! )

i have to mention the scene where her flame is dwindling because she feels so vulnerable and he tells her she looks even more beautiful ??? r u joking
