Sign of a ‘good’ film: when I leave the cinema with a heightened sense of everything around me. Tonight, post second viewing of Zone of Interest: distant church bells, someone’s rusty old bicycle as it rode past me, people’s crisp footsteps on gravel, my sniffles, different European accents and languages in conversation. Everything is sublime.
