Mr. Rebo’s review published on Letterboxd:
“Fisk? Fisk is the Kingpin?!” -Daredevil, 1 hour and 50 minutes into the directors cut.
An abomination of a movie and an adaptation, but certainly a product of its time. Not without one or two cool elements, but no effort was made to make any scene feel like it has anything to do with any other scene. It’s more or less two hours of cringe music videos feat. the absolute goofiest Colin Farrell performance of all time. I will say that I did honestly like Michael Clarke Duncan’s Kingpin. The character itself is not great by any means, but Duncan still manages to be very smooth and commanding here. Just a special actor.
