Myx_G’s review published on Letterboxd:
The finale surpasses the rest of the final run, if only for its slightly less convoluted plotting. It may fall prey to mostly the same common critiques of the manga, with a few minor subversive additions (notably the end credits). “Final run” here denotes the entire fourth segment; I can’t begin to differentiate the Homestuck-type divisions like ‘Season 4 [Final] Part 3: Part 1.’ It’s all the same pretty mess at the end of the day
I knew there would be no enjoying this, but I feel I’ve earned the right after starting so so long ago during a depressive stretch. These days I’m aware there’s good anime, so it couldn’t hurt me that bad. Not like where I started (“trust me bro just watch all of Clannad and Sword Art Online”)
Have I done enough apologizing? It’s difficult to remain objective since I don’t quite breathe all the genre stipulations of “shonen,” but I’ve seen Juju Kaisen and also didn’t vibe at all…at least the animation is nutso! I cannot see the great appeal outside of fighty-boy drawings but hey I like the boy-fights. More boy-fights please
