I’m always gonna be vocal about how much I love Nordic Norwegian/Swedish raw representation of real life, the truthful version of it. For me, the message that stuck with me the most while analyzing it is that everything deserves a chance, but when something is supposed to come from the inside - the feeling - the certainty - and it’s just simply not feeling like the right thing, you have every right to change your life. Sometimes you need to be selfish and put yourself first to make your on life based on your own morals/goals. Everyone has a different perspective of success, love, family…I’m a seeker of stability but I can relate to the feeling of changing, always looking for the next place, always trying to develop and improve myself, always analyzing where I am and where I should be. This movie feels like an intimate personal journey, and they are never “cute”. It takes courage to be firstly honest with yourself so you can be with someone else. (Bonus point for the scene where everything stops and she simply does what she wanted to do, such a visual take of the feeling she had and the lack of reality felt so real. Could write about what it symbolized for me forever) :))))
