Steve Dickson’s review published on Letterboxd:
I knew nothing going into this. As I was watching it I thought it was like some Michael Bay wannabe the way the camera moved at times. It kind of made sense when the end credits revealed it was actually Michael Bay! It certainly had all his trade marks with the clever camera work, the ridiculous editing, overly long, clunky dialogue and weird but fun tone. It was entertaining and really quickly paced and I enjoyed my time watching it. So much of it doesn’t make sense and some of the dialogue was awful but it was decent enough fun. The characters were weirdly quite likeable but fairly unpleasant at the same time. I do enjoy these messy but fun efforts at the cinema and if you can switch your brain off for a bit there is a good time to be had.
