was totally overcome with the urge to to make a butch-friendly redesign of starfigher’s fuku - had to draw usagi too & somehow ended up with a boxer and a figure skater about it

  • If you unable to come out because you fear for your safety or well-being or because you know it will cause you substantial discomfort, that is not a defect in you. It's a failure of the society in which you live and the community surrounding you.
  • If you just don't want to share that part of yourself, that is valid and I support you

millywood from my version of '98 where they make increasingly convoluted excuses to sneak off and drink alone together as often as possible it's some weird game of emotional chicken to them and they can't stop playing it who will win. the guy who has been at precarious levels of total emotional lockdown since age seven? or milly beatrice thompson - a woman so good at playing emotional manager in this series that even other characters write her off as airheaded comic relief about it idk. dungeon meshi marcille has always been ambitious but up until this point she's primarily driven by fear desire for desire's sake is a new concept for her (after 50 years!!) and it totally overwhelms her she is so beloved for that. ryoko. kui. is. brilliant. Long comic description incoming - The first five pages of a Dungeon Meshi fancomic featuring Izutsumi and Inutade as they appear in the manga. Izutsumi stands with her arms folded while Tade sits down and removes her armor. Izutsumi expresses confusion about the past. She says "I'll never understand why you did all that... it's not like you were ever gonna get anything out of it! Can't you tell when somebody's usin' you?" Tade is perky as ever as she claims to have never wanted anything, to which Izutsumi immediately scoffs "Yeah, right!!" Tade continues, smiling softly to herself. She says "Tade just knows what it looks like when someone needs help and can't ask for it. Don't you think you were going through enough already, back then?" Izutsumi gets totally caught off guard by this, her eyes go wide and her expression goes bashful. You always acted like it was some sorta gift!! I hated that!!" Tade doesn\'t skip a beat. She goes full ham, with sparkly shoujo eyes and a wistful expression. Happily, she sighs "Asebi always gave what she had to give...." In the background we see a Izutsumi get plinked in the head by a rogue flying shoujo sparkle. End comic.ALT

they are like a slapstick comedy duo. to me izutade dungeon meshi I almost made a 'plate too full' joke with the first half btw do you get it. izutsumi's plate was too full. her PLATE because it's a FOOD CENTERED mang-- llama gets dragged offstage by a comically large hook

I grew up w the dub on tv but I watch subs now I think my work confuses a lot of ppl and my hypothesis is that the dub is the favorite (i think its easier to stream rn too iirc) I say that bc milly and woof have. hmm. a bit of a different characterization in the japanese. if u don't like their ball and chain agony gag from the dubs try watchin e11 in japanese. he sounds FLUSTERED its so funny anyway i was like. lemme see what people think! trigun 1998 trigun 98 apologies for not including more language options this was just specific to if u prefer either english version of it should have worded that better. sorry! I know lots of ppl who prefer other international dubs or translations so dw dw I see u

finally got to finish reading Chobits as an adult. the final volumes wrecked me especially because I loved Angelic Layer as a child like. I was truly SHAKEN at the concept can't believe CLAMP was out here tricking seinen magazine subscribers into reading I Robot (For Her) listen. it's about the......girl robots...it's about their capacity for AGENCY.... also. gonna start linking what I was listening to I listened to so much 80s Kate Bush while drawing this dude.
