I really want to see SkyNani in an intense drama, full of emotional clashes. Like, How do we love each other this much but still end up hurting so bad? I want something painfully heartbreaking

naniskys answered:
oh the way they would EAT this up 🤌🤌 kings of yearning and eye acting, I need to see that teary-eyed snotty breaking up and making up 😩
ik they said they want to do comedy, but they’re absolutely MADE for drama and high tension scenes

"i can't benefit from oppressive power structures, i'm literally nice :)" is a disturbingly common sentiment on here and if u express it then i can never trust u again
I've talked about this when delivering cultural safety education. People feel very uncomfortable when they are made to acknowledge that they benefit from systems of oppression, and most people (in Western societies im talking about) aren't good at being uncomfortable. So we avoid acknowledging it. But avoidance fixes nothing.
It's perfectly reasonable to feel discomfort, sadness, shame, and anger. The key is to turn those feelings into fuel. Make them doing feelings, instead of avoidance feelings. These emotions are meant to teach us what we did wrong, so we can stop doing those things wrong now and in the future.
HEARTBREAKING: band you just discovered doesn't have any other songs that sound like that
