My hero OC’s name is Francis in every incarnation but she has preferred nicknames sometimes. Her designs are intended to be seen as a portrayal of how my overall gameplay felt (i.e. aggressive/attack-heavy or alternatively more prone to using items/healing/defending) in addition to the hero’s dialogue. :3
Explorers!Francis (Francis) is predictably my favorite, she’s a tad malnourished and hardened compared to the others so she’s skinnier and lacks that Pikachu chub™. Rescue Team!Francis (Frannie) is bossy and hotheaded, Super!Francis (Fran) is doting and sympathetic. :)
my headcanon for Mew/partner is that they’re adaptive to their environment so they take on certain features/elements depending on the things and pokemon they live around, rescue team!Aukai is swampy + covered in barnacles/grass/etc. since he lives at the turtleshell pond (but i like to think he happily just sleeps outside on the ground in front of the house he gave frannie lmao). explorers!Aukai took on aspects of his lil relic fragment, might add the patterns of it to the outside of his shell if im feeling quirky. and super!Aukai took after his adoptive carracosta papa. :3
hero AKA Francis is a little less complicated, pikachu to raichu is a pretty simplistic change, i didnt want to do too many additions to her designs. figure her cheeks/tail glow green when she’s using her electric attacks.
