Share your experience and feedback as a Wikimedian in this global survey
editHello! The Wikimedia Foundation is asking for your feedback in a survey. We want to know how well we are supporting your work on and off wiki, and how we can change or improve things in the future.[1] The opinions you share will directly affect the current and future work of the Wikimedia Foundation. You have been randomly selected to take this survey as we would like to hear from your Wikimedia community. To say thank you for your time, we are giving away 20 Wikimedia T-shirts to randomly selected people who take the survey.[2] The survey is available in various languages and will take between 20 and 40 minutes.
You can find more information about this project. This survey is hosted by a third-party service and governed by this privacy statement. Please visit our frequently asked questions page to find more information about this survey. Hi, Laura! I'm struggling to understand the purpose of this item, there are no links to it, the label/description doesn't match the statements, and there are no sitelinks. So I think maybe it should be deleted, but would like to ask you first about what its purpose is/was? Jon Harald Søby (talk) 12:41, 27 July 2017 (UTC)
- I'm not sure how to improve the item at this moment. Jon Harald Søby --Laura Marianne
Learn about the impact of Wikidata on Yle
editHi Laura Marianne, I wanted to reach out to you about your work on the Yle Archive tags and identifiers, to learn more about how the project has been coming along since the update last year at http://wikimedia.fi/2016/04/15/yle-3-wikidata/ . We are beginning to see a lot of collaboration amongst different communities that want to use Wikidata for identifier systems, and would like to better understand the opportunities and barriers to this kind of work. Moreover, I have been invited to join a panel at the Radio Preservation Task Force Conference in Washington D.C. in Early November, and I would love to be able to talk about your example and application of Wikidata. Please send me an email astinson wikimedia.org, so that we could coordinate that followup. Astinson (WMF) (talk) 17:09, 24 August 2017 (UTC)
- Please contact me by email yleinfo@yle.fi and write it is directed for Laura Karvinen. Thank you! Astinson (WMF) --Laura Marianne
