Searching for "HPC", I see several hundreds of items without description. This makes it very hard to distinguish them amongst other things that may be called "HPC" (eg I'm creating some stock exchanges).

Furthermore the info you're importing for some of the items is very poor, just performance (eg HPC (Q73269681)). The TOP500 page https://www.top500.org/system/9850 shows a lot more info.

You should at least use some of the textual info to make a meaningful description, eg "supercomputer HPC - PowerEdge 1950/SunFire X2200 Cluster Intel 53xx 2.33Ghz, Opteron 2.3 Ghz, Myrinet 10G: University of Southern California".

@Vladimir Alexiev, apologises for not answering. Yes, this is someone wold consider a bug, as only the first characters before a «-». I mentioned sometime ago I'll review those items, but keep in mind TOP500 importer created thousand of items, so, this should be done via bot or QuickStatements. Thanks for notifying this.

So, fix your importer to produce descriptions and improve the info. Or post on Wikidata:Bot_requests

Amitie, your items violate the Wikidata rule that items cannot have the same name and (lack of) description. Do you plan to fix your items or should I move to delete them?

• https://w.wiki/68LK shows 25 items named "HPC".
• https://w.wiki/68LN finds 1700 supercomputer names that are used multiple times and have no description (or only "supercomputer")
• https://w.wiki/68LP shows the worst offender: the name "POWER CHALLENGE" that's used for 511 instances. Checked the first 3, all are created by you

Also, @Warcelona: writes that now many of the Top500 links have stopped working. Can you check the links you imported?

Buenos días. Siento molestar, pero eres el primer hispanohablante que he encontrado entre la lista de creadores de propiedades. Verás: quería proponer la creación de tres identificadores, pero no sé ni siquiera por dónde empezar. Me he perdido entre los pasos que hay que dar para ello, y he pensado que quizá tú podrías ayudarme en el proceso. Explico brevemente cuáles serían los identificadores:

*«identificador Covite», para la información sobre cientos de víctimas de terrorismo que hay almacenada en la página web del Colectivo de Víctimas del Terrorismo del País Vasco. La ruta de la URL es siempre «https://mapadelterror.com/victims/» seguido del nombre y apellidos de la víctima.

*«identificador Memoria de vida»: en la misma línea que el anterior, pero con la información y los recursos audiovisuales de los que dispone la radiotelevisión pública española. La ruta que siguen estos recursos es siempre «https://www.rtve.es/memoriadevida/detalle.php?id=» seguido de un número.

*«identificador Parlamento Vasco», para la información sobre cientos de parlamentarios y otras personas que han ocupado algún cargo en esa institución. La ruta de la URL es siempre «https://www.legebiltzarra.eus/fichas/» seguido de una combinación alfanumérica. Pueden verse aquí todos.

Creo que todos estos identificadores podrían ser muy útiles y se podrían completar en un margen de tiempo asumible, pero, como te decía, me siento incapaz de proponer su creación. Agradecería mucho tu ayuda. Un saludo, ~~~~

Hola de nuevo. Unas cosas:

• 'restricción de tipo de propiedades de Wikidata' sirve para indicar la clase de los elementos que usen la propiedad, no la clase de los valores de la propiedad. Para eso está 'restricción de tipo de valor'.
• Y no sirve de nada poner format as a regular expression (P1793) como declaración principal, esto va como calificador del valor 'restricción de formato' en las restricciones de la propiedad.
• Es bueno hacer ping a todos los participantes de la discusión para que se enteren de la creación de la propiedad (pero {{Ping}} sólo soporta hasta 6 usuarios, así que si hay más, tendrá qué ser manualmente). Lo digo porque no me había enterado que habías creado dos propiedades que propuse, 'EcuRed' y 'bandas de frecuencia', de no ser por que aparecieron en el resumen del Café de Técnica en eswiki.
• Y las correcciones de Iwan.Aucamp en Property talk:P7979.

Are these duplicates? One of the external id does not resolve either. Can you have a look? Thanks!

Indeed, is the same machine but with different TOP500 identifier (the id 10166 was valid at certain moment). I merged them. Thanks for notifying.

Hi! I notice that TOP500 importer (talk • contribs • logs) is creating many duplicate items. E.g. Y-MP8/664 (Q69668405), Q69721852, Q69713328, Q69713879. Is this something we could cut down on, please?
