I suspect that its resumed activity is rather connected to the block of Wendiosmanh (talk • contribs • logs), but can't prove that. If the supposedly reliable and accurate tool, checkuser, is unable to determine which user is using "additional" accounts, it only shows another failure of the administration, which is busy with obsessive "searches" for evidence. I wonder when the administrators will think about other possibilities. Perhaps the administrators will understand that the atmosphere of a witch hunt they are fueling leads to unintentional mistakes made in haste? I add a comment for the record: the items created in the last two days are nearly 42k and all of them had the problem of the form "Surname, Name" that has been lamented by many users in the talk pages, in vain obviously; I am running 6 QS batches to fix them (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6). I am also adding German and English labels besides mul labels because I'm certain that in many cases the label taken from GND is good only as German and sometimes English label but in many cases not as mul label (e.g. Greek and Georgian authors). --Epìdosis 22:03, 4 November 2024 (UTC)Reply
We also have 2200 items (out of 42k) sharing the VIAF ID (P214) with an existing item, see query https://w.wiki/BqYG: they are flooding Property talk:P214/Duplicates/humans right now and we absolutely need help in fixing them.
