its three days past when my rent is due, but i dont fucking have it. my wife and i have been dealing w a serious situation w a neighbor this past weekend and couldn't keep our posts scheduled, and rbs completely fell off. we need $907.22 still to pay our rent, and we have until the 7th before our housing is at risk (we are on a payment plan and taking this long to make a payment could be seen as violating our payment plan, which would put us out w nowhere to go). please send to my wife (leave purple emoji in payment note!!) so we can stay housed. i am covering all of our regular expenses like food, bills, weather appropriate clothes, and (still) trying to replace at least some of what was lost in our move over a year ago. im sorry to be annoying and keep asking, but being this poor is extremely expensive.

Hi!

It has been a month since I started updating Falastin's campaign to get her family out of Gaza. I first contacted her on 25th of August (and here's my first post with this same little olive tree) but she started the fundraiser in late June. Since then we've gathered 4,963$ total (or 50,210 SEK), and we are both thankful for every donation out of 255.

However, after this month her 24 family members are still in Gaza and they still need money - not just for evacuation for when the border opens, but for basically every necessity since the prices for everything are extremely high right now and they have no income. They also suffer from their tent getting flooded, and they need waterproof materials as well as more tents since half of them are still sleeping outside.

I talk to Falastin every day and share my updates with her - we both cheer on large donations and worry when there is no messages from her family. Her heart breaks every day and yet she is still fighting to give her family a chance for life; life without humming of the drones above, without starving every other day, without being displaced every two weeks, without sleeping on the street.

She already has lost a lot of people so please help her to achieve this dream by donating any amount you can and boosting this campaign further. We are very close to our next short-term goal of 5,500$! Keep in mind that the fundraiser is in SEK, and the rates are:

Iyad and his wife are both elderly. Iyad has diabetes which makes his feet swell and he hasn't been able to get his medicine for it in almost a MONTH. Because of his swelling, Iyad can't move well and now that his tent is flooded, he can't even rest.

Iyad has several small children aged 5, 7, 10, 13, and 14 years old. They are now without shelter where it's cold and wet. And with terrible diseases spreading throughout Gaza, this will only put them more at risk.

Ruba was discharged from the hospital just a few days ago due to a serious injury she got while being displaced. She lost a lot of blood and although she has been discharged, she still needs medicine for it. Now she also needs medicine to treat her and the rest of her family's flu.

no more horrifying emotion than reloading the gofundme page for my friend's family and seeing it being at the same amount as hours ago. he is a full time dental student while working multiple jobs to try to reduce the amount of money that needs to be crowdfunded.

his family is literally evading bombings every single day (sometimes multiple times a day) for the past 11.5 months. his youngest sister is so chronically malnourished that she doesn't even have the energy to cry out of fear anymore. the ground literally shakes and splinters, huge craters in the middle of neighborhoods. dozens of people still missing under rubble just this week.

if you have literally ANYTHING at all please help this family. this decision to move out of Jabalia to somewhere safer is the last resort and it's looking like it has to happen soon. iof announced the intent to cut off North Gaza from the rest of the strip two days ago, saying Hamas was hiding there amongst civilians. we've heard this excuse being used to justify mass murder multiple times. please DO SOMETHING. i am deathly afraid for the safety of the younger siblings.

Life Update

Ma is home now but I've been running around going back and forth to court fighting an eviction case, my mom can't get up and down the stairs and her insurance refuses to pay for a stair climber wheelchair but I found one online for a cheap, my cousin is staying with us now, and we're running low on household supplies, dog food, and groceries, and we still have to pay the electric bill, the internet and phone bills to keep in contact with building management and the lawyer. None of us are getting paid anytime soon either and we really need gas money for the rest of the week. Please share this around.

incredibly terrifying that iof defense minister released a statement just a few minutes ago saying that the iof is going to switch strategies and turn their "resources and forces" up north. a second wave of pager explosions happened just a few hours ago, with at least 3 dead.

within Palestine, North Gaza has always been the area affected most by iof's siege that blocked access to food, clean water, and medical supplies (such as fuel, electricity, and operating equipment). there has been an airstrike at least once every 3 days for the past 11 months. iof in recent months have taken to targeting densely populated refugee camps and family homes that are still standing, specifically targeting civilians.

I dread to think what will happen to North Gaza now that iof made clear they will be redirecting most of their forces into the region. The road to relocate to central parts of Gaza or even the southern parts are extremely dangerous and transportation has become extremely expensive.
