They arent going to stop. I know a lot of us have been maybe thinking in the back of our minds, ok he’ll do these big scary moves for the first 5 or 6 months and then hang a mission accomplished banner up and agencies will very quietly reconstitute as under the radar as possible and we might be able to scrape through this thing but. Until we make them, they aren’t going to stop.

I hate seeing videos or photos of Trump so before the election I was pretty checked out on his health and aging (I swear I have a point here) and I operated on the assumption that people thinking he was going to die soon was wishful thinking. Now that I have to pay more attention to him, I see that they’re correct that he’s declining (although I don’t see him as dropping dead anytime soon — cognitive decline of various types can take years to incapacitate someone) and he’s letting Elon run the show. The reason I mention this is because Trump in his last go-round would have resented the attention Elon gets and would have booted him weeks ago — or not even allowed him to form his shadow presidency and illegal government agency in the first place — but that’s not the situation now. We can’t rely on Trump’s narcissistic tendencies to lend a hand here. We’re going to have to get Elon out some other way. And that’ll be one problem solved.
