I'm rewatching the Sound of Music 1965 (again) and I noticed that when Maria is Alone she says that she "go[es] to the hills when [her] heart is lonely" but when she's talking to the Reverend Mother suddenly it becomes 'the hills were just so lovely today :)'

(And then the line "Some people would call that honesty." / "Oh, but it's terrible, Reverend Mother!")

Like it really adds to the themes in Something Good that Maria is Not as innocent as she seems and has some sort of less-than-perfect streak and it makes me go SO wild
