He has been displaced countless times, had to bury loved ones and witness the death of friends, and has survived on the generosity of donors from around the world almost the entire time. At first, his campaign was -- and still is -- a way to raise money to escape. However, with the Zionist occupation refusing to allow civilian movement through the Gaza-Egypt border, much of the funds raised have been used to survive as the price of goods has skyrocketed. His campaign has slowed to a stop for over a week, and with the genocidal siege of his land only becoming more brutal, it is as important as ever to sustain he and his family.
