- This crat is active. Have you left a note with him? MBisanz talk 21:07, 31 March 2013 (UTC)
- Leaved only now. Already had to other 3 crats a long time ago. Gusta (talk) 16:03, 1 April 2013 (UTC)

Contribs Disappeared
I had my account renamed from si:User:Hkn89 to si:User:Pheonixter few months ago. Everything worked fine but from yesterday my contribs of siwiki appears to be empty. --Pheonixter (talk) 18:38, 4 April 2013 (UTC)
- All pages to which you have contributed have been deleted. Ruslik (talk) 19:27, 4 April 2013 (UTC)
- Yes, some edits show up on Special:DeletedContributions. For some reason however, Special:Centralauth/Pheonixter does not give a sign that any edits were done. It seems a bit as if the rename was somehow reverted. --MF-W 20:43, 4 April 2013 (UTC)
- My contributions using this user name has also been moved to old username. How can I fix this? --Pheonixter (talk) 05:23, 6 April 2013 (UTC)
- That looks like part of the same problem; it looks like the rename hasn't completed properly. Bugzilla? QuiteUnusual (talk) 09:14, 8 April 2013 (UTC)
- Thanx. Fixed it by renaming again. --Pheonixter (talk) 05:25, 10 April 2013 (UTC)

Camion
My user ID exists now for years and has been globalized except for commonswiki, enwiki, enwiktionary and eswiki were it seems to exist with no contributions and on ruwiki were there is one only contribution. I'm not sure about this but since I'm a very ancient wikipedia user, the cause might be that I created the user Camion eons ago on enwiki and forgot about it. Is it possible to fusion it with my current account, at least on commonswiki, enwiki and enwiktionary on which I'm forced to contribute on IP ? -- Camion (talk) 11:58, 28 December 2012 (UTC)
- You can try to go on Special:MergeAccounts and see if the password or username match and so it can be merged automatically into your SUL account, but otherwise you can simply ask the local 'crats in the various wiki to allow you to usurp those accounts, all but the ruwiki one have 0 edits and ruwiki has 1 edit, so it would be very easy. Snowolf How can I help? 13:25, 28 December 2012 (UTC)
- I wouldn't have any problems using it if they had the same password. btw, I don't know where to reach the bureaucrats requests page on commonswiki and enwiktionary -- Camion (talk) 13:39, 28 December 2012 (UTC)
- You can find the links to these pages here: Index of pages where renaming can be requested. Sanyi4 (talk) 20:21, 28 December 2012 (UTC)

Йо Асакура
I am the bureaucrat of ru.wiki and one of the users - Йо_Асакура - asked me to help with the posting of his request here (prooflink). The problem is in the following - there is SUL (Special:CentralAuth/Йо_Асакура) and accounts in various wikis belong to ru.wiki user but he can't merge this accounts by Special:MergeAccount because of the "Wrong password" message. He tried to do this from ru.wiki, commons, other wikis and wikidata - Special:MergeAccount doesn't work for him anywhere. What can you suggest? Maybe delete of existing SUL could help... -rubin16 (talk) 18:31, 17 April 2013 (UTC)
- Global account deleted. Please ask the user to try Special:MergeAccount now. --MF-W 19:24, 17 April 2013 (UTC)
- I see it worked. Closing as Done --MF-W 19:47, 17 April 2013 (UTC)

Hubertl Problem
Merging two accounts with the same name.
I, as Hubertl, have a Global Account with this username, based on de:wp. Six years ago, I registered at en:wp as User:Hubertl but made only 2 edits and then lost my access infos.
Last year, I created my SUL-account. This works well, except for bar:wp and en:wp.
For your information: I have been working for 10 years with a single IP address, so it´s easy to revise this facts.
I ask to add en:User:Hubertl to my existing SUL-account, based on de:wp.
regards --Hubertl (talk) 10:00, 1 April 2013 (UTC)
- It is not possible to merge the account if you have forgotten the password. However, your en.wp account has email configured. If you go to the en.wp login and request a password reminder, assuming you still have the same email account, you will get a new password. You can then visit Special:Mergeaccount, enter the en.wp password where requested, and merge the account successfully. Alternatively, you could change the en.wp account password to be the same as your SUL account and merge it automatically. If you can't remember the en.wp password and the password reminder doesn't work, then your only option is to ask an en.wp bureaucrat to rename the old Hubert1 account to a new name so you can create a new SUL linked Hubert1 account on en.wp QuiteUnusual (talk) 11:27, 1 April 2013 (UTC)
- Thank you, I tried everything, but 6 years later I cannot remember anything. Neither the password nor the mailadress I used at this time. I didn´t know that it is possible to rename an account. But this may be a possibility! Thank you! --Hubertl (talk) 12:01, 1 April 2013 (UTC)
- Make a request [here explaining the situation. An en.wp bureaucrat will move your old account to a new name, letting you create a new one that is merged properly QuiteUnusual (talk) 16:26, 1 April 2013 (UTC)
- Marking as done - account is now merged on enwiki QuiteUnusual (talk) 16:14, 25 April 2013 (UTC)

WikiWriter123
I'm WikiWriter123 on de.wikipedia.org and want to edit on en.wikipedia.org and other global projects too, but unfortunately someone already took that name on enwiki, so I want to usurp this account (which has been inactive since 2007), so I can use the Unified login for all WikiMedia projects.

Hortensja Bukietowa
I would like to ask you what I am supposed to do. The system made my global account automatically after renaming and I do not like it, because I had accounts on different projects a long time ago, before it was possible to have a global account. Now I have al least two different accounts on different projects. What are the best solutions to clean up the mess? Please answer me in simple English language. I am considering the deletion of my global account Hortensja Bukietowa, which I use only to edit on Polish Wikipedia. --Hortensja Bukietowa (talk) 12:26, 25 April 2013 (UTC)
- What accounts do you have, besides Hortensja Bukietowa? --Bencmq (talk) 13:19, 25 April 2013 (UTC)
- It is private, or al least I consider it private. I just would like to know what the standard procedures are in such cases? If I delete my global account Hortensja Bukietowa from other projects (I do not use them anyhow), then what are the disadvantages? --Hortensja Bukietowa (talk) 13:45, 25 April 2013 (UTC)
- Well, I have decided to delete my global account Hortensja Bukietowa. But not completely! I use this account on PL-WP (Polish Wikipedia) every day. If you have any questions or something is not clear, please ask me. --Hortensja Bukietowa (talk) 16:04, 25 April 2013 (UTC)
- It is not possible for you to delete a global account. It still exists. All accounts are in effect global but you can have different accounts on different projects by creating more than one global account and only using it on specific projects. But if you read a page on a different project while logged in, you will have an account automatically created on that new project - there's no way of avoiding it. QuiteUnusual (talk) 16:12, 25 April 2013 (UTC)
- Sorry, but I do not understand, why I can not delete my global account, if one can place on this page the requests for deletion of global accounts. Why is it not possible for me? What is wrong with me? It is not good to have more global accounts on different projects. I have been accused of sockpuppetery recently. I want to avoid such deeply unpleasant situations in the future. That is why I decided to remove my account Hortensja Bukietowa from projects, where I have other accounts, created earlier, before that one. --Hortensja Bukietowa (talk) 17:55, 25 April 2013 (UTC)
- I misunderstood what you wrote. I thought you were saying that you had deleted the account. Avoiding being accused of sockpuppetery is easy - use only one account on a project. If you don't edit with the other account(s) then you can't be called a sockpuppet. If your global account is deleted the local account will still exist on the projects. That is, deleting the global account makes no difference to the account on dewiki, enwiki, etc. QuiteUnusual (talk) 18:47, 25 April 2013 (UTC)

- I didn't wanted a global account. It was made automatic. Unfortunately using only one account was not working in my case. I was blocked. But never mind. I see that we can not understand each other. Sorry for stealing your time. --Hortensja Bukietowa (talk) 19:38, 25 April 2013 (UTC)
- I can delete the global account, but it will get automatically created again in certain circumstances. If you want it deleted now, I can do that. QuiteUnusual (talk) 19:56, 25 April 2013 (UTC)
- May I explain everything in an email to you? Is it permitted to talk to stewards by email? or must everything be open to the public? I don't want to talk about private things on this page. Everybody can read it, also people off-wiki. If you are allowed to communicate by email, I would prefer that. --Hortensja Bukietowa (talk) 20:22, 25 April 2013 (UTC)
- @QuiteUnusual I don't see any need/reason in deleting the global account. (I don't like to have global account is not a good enough reason to delete SUL account, let alone the fact that everything will be global in a month's time). --Bencmq (talk) 04:19, 27 April 2013 (UTC)

Vid
I've been using this account (and around the 'net fwiw) since before 2006. I checked the SUL tool and didn't see other active accounts. Although I don't have a great many edits, I'm an active proponent of Wikipedia and anticipate constant contributions. It's worth noting I use tagged email addresses of the form vid_sitename @ zooid.org. It would be great if I can 'usurp' the other accounts. Thank you! --Vid (talk) 16:17, 30 April 2013 (UTC)
- You can go to Index of pages where renaming can be requested to request usurpation of these accounts on the relevant wikis locally. Alternatively, you can wait for the Single User Login finalisation at the end of May which will move the accounts away. --MF-W 16:23, 30 April 2013 (UTC)
