Project idea
[edit]What is the problem you're trying to solve?
[edit]The summation (sigma) of human knowledge requires a step change in knowledge management, representation, curation, stoge and presentation. So far WMF projects are relying on 20th solutions in terms of linear text, databases, static ontology and direct human curation. There are huge realms of knowledge that are not amenable these ways of working.
What is your solution?
[edit]This is an ambitious and expensive (but in my view inevitable) programme built out of Strategy Alpha and Innovate Beta. Research networks reaching into current work across the academic world in knowledge managment, ontology, artifical intelligence; followed by physical entities colocated with major world centres. Linkage to and from leading reserch centres, interchange of people and ideas, communications and engagement. Creation of new communities of knowledge curators.
