Chai and I had a long chat after Bunny passed. We spoke about using her vocal abilities and moving forward with reggae. She hitched up with new collaborators and this is one of the songs that came along.
I'm proud to say that I co-managed Chai for 2-yrs prior to she and her husband leaving our 'camp' and becoming Bunny Wailer's support act and backing vocalists until his recent passing.
The 7-track album is a mixture of jazz and reggae fusion and Chai has a top level voice.

The Wailers with Bunny did fly to England in 2016 for a few gigs and I got to spend a day with Chai and her husband. It was great catching up.

More Music History. This was the 2nd cover by Chai (during our management). She had previously recorded two reggae versions as 'Don't Let Go' with her group LMJ (rare) and then LMJ with Galaxy P. This version above was never officially released as we could not get the license.
This is a very rare (and very poor quality) version of Chai’s vocal group LMJ with a reggae cover of En Vogue’s ‘Don’t Let Go’
