from qinghua’s pov, killing is a thing that happens! firstly to survive (there’s too many ways to die in that world) and secondly to put this mobei jun on his rightful throne ! he wrote him as the king of the north desert so he will be!! and as much as he might cry and whine about a lot of things i think he’s actually a pretty ruthless and effective (he literaly runs the peak of logistic !!) guy who secretly get his hands dirty multiple times or at least second handly through various manipulation of characters and plot knowledge when he knew he had to.

meanwhile it’s a pretty normal thing for a demon like mobei jun to kill and show how dangerous he is, it’s culture! but he also grew up in a one of a kind family situation where showing weakness (and gods forbid emotions) was out of the question and he probably had to kill or else get killed by his relatives trickery quite early in the elaborate path to the throne.

and even after becoming king he probably faces off quite the number of assasination plots. he and qinghua actually, since the guy became a very public politic figure and basically run the northern kingdom (that and the blatant favoritism that mobei jun shows him which makes him a great target to get rid off) and when holding courts mobei jun definitely makes a blatant example of anyone stupid enough to sneer or look badly in qinghua’s direction.

they both are killing people and any kind of creature that get in the way in order to get shit done and most importantly /protect/.

oh gosh you are,,,, in so many ways,,,

it could go the classical way with mobei being the big gruff witcher and jaskier qinghua (him telling stories,,,, yeah)

BUT it could also go with pitiful witcher qinghua who really doesn’t even know how he managed this far (he’s great at some things ofc but being covered in monsters guts all day sucks alright) and one monster mobei whom qinghua doesn’t even try to kill and end up befriending bc of circumstances right ! it ends up with clingy qinghua and a bit confused mobei but they make it work

First of all thank you !! the thing about it never looking right is probably bc you can /see/ that something is wrong visually but you don’t have the skills and knowledge to correct things yet !

If you wanna draw humans, learn anatomy (proko’s video on yt are perfect for that) or go on pinterest there’s a lot of useful ref !

but ig my main advice for the rest is to take fanarts you love and try to draw them or at least the part that you really like (like for exemple the way someone do eyes or render skins) to learn how it works and from fanart to fanart you should learn along the way !

and really, the most important i believe, is to use references ! (and to be patient, but if you draw regularly and correct yourself as you go you could become an art deity in like one year)
