Hello, everyone!

You can call me Miryum! I’ve been on this lovely hellsite since October 2021 and am proud to say I’m still posting.

I don’t do requests, mostly because I don’t have a ton of time to write and so I want to write what I love on my own schedule. I just absolutely love to write and don’t want the pressure of requests to spoil it for me. You can still send in suggestions for fics, there’s just no guarantee I’ll write it. However, that doesn’t mean my inbox is closed. Almost everyone on Tumblr I’ve encountered has been super nice and I’d love to chat with any one of you!

I only write x Reader, but I do write smut and practically anything else. If you have any questions, feel free to pop in my inbox, which is always open! I’d be glad to have you!

You sat in the rowboat, hands pressed along the wood. James sat across from you, muscles straining as he rowed the oars towards shore. You had asked for him not to be the one to take you back, worried that he would get jailed and executed the moment he stepped foot on land. But he had insisted. “What man would I be if I didn’t stay with my beloved until the end?” The words had been like a knife to your heart. 

“I am sorry,” you managed out. “You understand why I can’t, right, James? Please understand.”

Truer words have never been spoken. I literally got a comment on a fic I was having writers block for and now I’m getting ready to post the final chapter in an hour or two. Captain Wayne didn’t dare go near Detective L/n’s desk. The woman poured over a thick binder, a pencil shoved in her hair and a pen between her teeth. Her computer had more than a dozen tabs open and every person in the precinct gave her a wide berth. 

Wayne only wished that Y/n put as much effort into her detective work as she did her wedding planning. Jason was the only one who dared to approach her. “Sweetheart,” he broke her out of her reverie. “Why don’t we find something else for you to do? I’ll handle the wedding stuff.”

James wasn’t supposed to be on land. It was always too dangerous and anyways, the sea was his home. It felt odd to step off the swaying boat to solid earth, so he usually sent one of his crew members to re-supply or pick up a package. It was also safer because the chances of a price on his head was always high.

But there was always one exception to his rule: he liked to see nobility. Maybe it was because it gave him a peek of the high life. Maybe it was because secretly, he yearned for that cushy comfort and safety from the law. Maybe it was because he liked to see their ostentatious outfits.

“How should I greet her?” James asked hurriedly, looking over his appearance for the umpteenth time in the mirror. He smoothed down his jacket.

Sirius pretended to shoot himself in the forehead and Remus glared at him. “Captain,” the scar-faced pirate coaxed. “I’m sure it doesn’t matter. But she’s here and it’s quite rude to not meet her.”

“She’s here,” James breathed out, eyes shining. Of course, he had already known that since Remus and Sirius knocked on his door, but just hearing the words said out loud actualised it. Princess Y/n was here. On his boat. And he was about to officially meet her. He decided to take off his hat, ruffling up his hair. Then he turned and began pacing around his cabin. “See, I put up some art that we got,” he said, gesturing to the walls. “It’s stolen, obviously, but I thought she might appreciate it. She has to be a woman of taste and culture, being royalty and all. And look at the new drapes. Had to make everything better for the princess, you know. Do you think she likes to read?” He crouched in front of his bookshelf, eyes scanning the titles. “Yeah,” he muttered to himself. “Those’ll do.”
