hey im really really financially struggling rn. i am out of money and took up a bunch of work and need to get paid soon but you know how it is with prices and state of the world right now, groceries and utilities are expensive.
i think it is unrealistic for fans to expect sequels to be published a year after the first one and also want the book at its highest quality. it’s okay to expect a few years in between and i think it weird how much pressure authors face to publish their next book immediately. that’s a lot of stress on authors and i think it often leads to books being put out before they are ready.
Totheark posts “decline” with the absolute bomb of a quote, “everything is normal everything is fine i worry about nothing because nothing’s on my mind”. And the way the final marble hornets entry made by Tim ends with “Everything is fine.” Yeah.
Love the way i had my boyfriend play through the first draft of the demo and he read the most awkward sentence construction and just went “who talks like that?!” while i’m defending myself like “draft-zero-writing ME😭😭😭😭”
Love love love characters that present themselves as emotionally open social butterflies but the more you see of them the more obvious it is that they’re the most closed off fuckers in the story. Sure, they want to help you with your personal problems and messy emotions, but if you turn that shit back on them, they’ll shut down or deflect every time. Why are you sticking your nose in their business anyway? It’s not like it matters. They’re not a person, they’re just a role being played. They’re the guy who fixes things and saves people. Please ignore the man behind the mask, he’s fine. Everything’s fine.
