I think everyone who follows me because of boopening should first know that my posts circle between children’s cartoons, horror, pixel games, polishposting, random horny stuff I won’t elaborate on and artsy shit. You won’t escape.
I think one of the most interesting things about the Mother trilogy is that it isn't connected via its story, or its protagonists.
It's connected through its villains.
Mother 1 has Giegue/Giygas as the villain, and in 2 it's a role shared with (and I daresay surpassed by) Porky, who goes on to be the solo big bad of 3.
Idk, there's something interesting about the villains being more consistent characters than the heroes of the story, who are three separate groups fighting their own fights, completely unaware they all share common enemies.

Ive looked at this guys deviantart. He likes making comics where judy dies, but only if its funny. There are a lot of comics like that in his gallery, or there were last time i checked. The fox in the picture is not nick wilde, its a female fox oc who he wrote about judy getting with and marrying and adopting kids with after she broke up with nick. The abortion comic was not actually pro life, it was just meant to be a one shot soap opera type story that happened to use abortion to create the drama. Judy is supposed to be the one in the right in that comic, which is why she gets all those nice things happening to her in the follow up comic.
I think the thought process is that he wants to write overly dramatic and silly stories and just happens to use zootopia characters to do that instead of making up ocs for it for some reason.
Oh wow, this actually is a soap opera. That’s insane.
it is my opinion that hinawa and flint's personalities were honestly pretty similar to the twins' when they were their age. hinawa was very energetic and outgoing and maybe even a bit of a troublemaker herself, whereas flint was more shy and reserved.
as they grew older though, hinawa kept her strong will and spirit but became more emotionally mature and kind, which is why she can also be so gentle and loving at the same time. flint became more brave and selfless, even if he remained an introvert, and more confident in himself though still humble (though i think he doesn't become this way until adulthood, but my specific flintcanons are for another day)
these aren't so different from how i feel claus and lucas would learn to be as they got older. you can already see it with lucas in mother 3 itself. in my claus lives au i feel like claus never quite becomes "gentle" but becomes significantly more compassionate and kind-hearted, even if he shows it in a very "claus" way. by the time he's an adult i think he's a lot more honest about what he's thinking about also, and owns his past rather than trying to pretend nothing bad ever happened to him. he now sees it as an accomplishment and act of courage that he made it out it and of itself.
but there's kinda an irony in it, though. claus wanted to be like his dad and ended up like his mom. lucas wanted to be like his mom and ended up like his dad. they still share traits from both their parents, of course--i think lucas is more gentle like his mom, and claus is less gentle like his dad, for example, among other things. but ultimately they kinda skew in the opposite direction than what they wanted as kids!
The dark...er truth.
