Afternoon Light
This painting is a response to a walk I took around the Wood Walk at Trelissicke, a National Trust property in Cornwall. I was particularly drawn to the shadows across the footpath, that I am sure was due to the strong light that bounced off adjacent river. Like many of my works, this is a memory rather than an actual depiction of a place.
AUTUMN LANE COLLECTION - Contemporary mixed media abstract painting
I have attempted to capture fleeting experiences of my walk along a Cornish lane in early November. Late autumn in Cornwall can be a dynamic time due to constant weather fronts rushing in off the Atlantic. As the leaves start to fall from the trees, you see the twisted skeletal forms of the windswept tree branches that line the lanes. Light starts to seep back through the canopies that often turn the lanes into leaf-lined tunnels during the summer months.(contemporary abstract art)

Wall art in your interior
Wall art serves as a powerful and expressive element in interior design, adding character, personality, and visual interest to a space. The choice of wall art can greatly influence the overall atmosphere and aesthetic of a room. Artwork can be abstract, contemporary, traditional, or thematic, such as nature-inspired, geometric, or cultural. The style of the wall art often reflects the personal taste and interests of the homeowner, adding a unique touch to the space. Credit @refinery29
