Tools - Drill - Laser level - Mitre Saw (can also use hand saw) - Hammer - Spirit Level - Tape Measure - Stud Finder - Pencil - Nail Gun (can also use hammer & nails) Materials - 5010445686153 - Rawl Plugs - I used 10mm ones - 3663602747406 - Timber screws, to screw the main frame into the wall I used 90mm screws I already had. You need to use screws at least 70mm thick I’d say to be able to go through the frame and into the wall. Ad RECREATE MY ALCOVE DESK! I have loved finally having a dedicated workspace in the house, no more working at the dining room table. I built this using materials from @bandq_uk & it was so much simpler than I anticipated. As you can see from these pictures I built a wooden structure using wood batons, I used a thinner baton for the shelves than the desk.
