This antique book is "The Laurel and Lyre: Fugitive Poetry of the Nineteenth Century" published by Frederick Warne & Co in 1867. It has very decorative dark blue boards, lavishly embossed with an elaborate, ornate, gilt decoration and title on the cover and spine. The pages are gilt edged.
