I was responsible for modeling all hard assets (helmet, custom buckles, and chin guard) for Cap's helmet for TWS. Designs by Ryan Meinerding and initial rough model by Josh Herman. This helmet was kept for both Avengers 2 and from what I can tell, also Captain America: Civil War. Rumor is that Chris Evans liked this helmet so much that this is the reason they've kept it the same through each successive film. I have to admit, Ryan knocked it out of the park on the design!
