Just when crazy paving was popular, a sort of a derivation of 'Chequers' by Terence Conran for Midwinter Pottery. Wire stands were popular for a while, the ones that hold vegetable dishes are rare, the ones for vegetable dishes and with space for a candle burner rarer still. 1960's.

Not a wholly popular design, even in 1955 there might not have been enough people cutting their cucumber and tinned salmon sandwiches into triangles. More often seen as plate/cake stands, these undrilled plates were originally exported to Australia.
