Last week was our youngest daughter's birthday and we had planned on going to Miller & Carter. As we are in lock-down I boldly said I'd recreate her Steak dinner, I mean how hard could it be? She told me she always had their onion loaf but it wasn't like a bread loaf...now I've never been to Miller & Carter so I had no idea about their Onion Loaf so had to do some research and devise my own recipe. She told me she always had their onion loaf but it wasn't like a bread loaf...now I've never been to Miller & Carter so I had no idea about their Onion Loaf so had to do some research and devise my own recipe. Recipe below 2 large onions sliced into rings Table salt 75ml milk 1 tbsp flour 1 tbsp paprika 1/4 tsp white pepper Slice the onions into rings, cover in salt, mix them and add more salt. Leave for 30 mins to wilt down and then wash them in cold water, pat them dry with a clean tea towel. Add paprika and white pepper, mix.
