I am here to tell you that YOU can do this too and that it is a very easy DIY project!

I love accent walls, whether it’s some sort of wood being added, wallpaper, or even a pop of paint, I feel like they can totally transform a room and bring in some character.

And I knew I had to add some character to this room, but wanted to keep it classic yet somewhat unique, so I went for a double board and batten wall. (Well really just the batten as my wall was already smooth).

I used pine bead board to create this look - it was very easy to work with as it was lightweight and it flushed up perfectly to my existing baseboard and crown moulding!
