Even though this might have a bit of esoteric themes, this anime is as good as it gets. It blends its complex sci-fi themes very well while having top tier characters and a well written story. Just remember that this anime is very dialogue heavy.

Seriously though, this anime was so ahead of its time. Asuka truly is one of the most memorable tsunderes of all time.

Not sure why people call this elitist, but it goes on the list for that reason.

It's a Shojo SoL that just favors people above 17, really. Came for the anime, stayed for the music.

Anybody else remember seeing this anime a lot in YouTube poops? Those were the days.

This anime is as cyberpunk and elitist as it gets. Lots of heavy breathing. Definitely not for your average watcher. I wouldn't recommend this anime very easily.
