Literally one of the most critically acclaimed anime of all time! This show has one of THE most influential romances in all of anime, much less sapphic relationships. There is no Anthy without Utena, and no Utena without Anthy. No matter the lows they find themselves sinking to, or the walls that they put up, these two were always going to find each other.

The relationships in Beastars are the backbone of this series, romantic or otherwise, especially in regards to those shared between carnivores and herbivores. That's why it was imperative for the main wolf, Legoshi's, most developed relationships to be between himself and a herbivore.
Haru is a purposeful subversion of a love interest as well as a rabbit: instead of being demure and pure, she is abrasive, direct, and sexually experienced. This a perfect foil to Legoshi, who has none of the traits a stereotypical man and wolf is expected to have as well.
The navigation of their relationship takes time and experiences many bumps, but they are always clear in their affections with each other and how they are willing to put in the work to be together.

Though primarily a magical girl show, the relationships between the characters make it a true treat to watch!
Though somewhat more censored in the show, Yukito and Touya were one of the first canonical gay relationships ever depicted in mainstream anime, considered a huge milestone in queer rep at the time.
However, what truly stole the show was the relationship between the titular character and her rival turned love interest.
Though Sakura and Syaoran found themselves constantly butting heads in the beginning, her being more free and outgoing and him being more uptight and traditional, Syaoran would eventually grow to respect Sakura and even gain one of the cutest crushes ever witnessed!
The yearning, the flirting, the cuteness, it's all around a wonderful time! There's a reason they are considered a beloved classic couple in anime.
Note: A perfect comparison of Sakura and Syaoran's relationship is Anya and Damian from SpyxFamily, the main difference being the genre and setting.

Literally one of THE classics in all of shoujo and romance.
Tohru and Kyou were literally made for each other, they are like two pieces of a puzzle, each making up for something the other lacks.
Tohru is a positive ray of sunshine who is always pushing herself as well as seeing the best in people, but unfortunately lacks a proper backbone in the beginning and therefore finds herself under unwarranted judgement.
Kyou is very hotheaded and abrasive, stubborn but also hardworking and knows when to step up and fightback.
They both see the best in each other but the worst in themselves. By being together, they are able to uplift one another and further tap into their own potential as people.

This story is literally one of the gayest things I have every witnessed in my whole life. This is like if Sapphos came back from the dead, learned about
Faust and magical girl anime, and wrote a epic romantic tragedy.
Homura and Madoka's romance is truly an epic greek tragedy, the scope of their love story is too grand to truly describe.

This relationship is adorable! Morioka is literally so sweet as well as relatable, her struggles with working in the corporate world are so real. Sakurai is literally the greenest flag that ever walked the earth, and his devotion to Morioka is so sweet it could cause diabetes.
The fact that more people do not know about this show and therefore this amazing relationship is truly a shame.
