HALP. OBS IS. fuckt
god i keep looking for a solution for this godforsaken problem and all the reddit and forum responses are giving the same answers but
does anyone know what to do if OBS and ONLY obs is experiencing like 80%+ frame drops??? all the fucking forums tell me to go test my internet speeds and connectivity and I went through the list and it is VERY much not my connection
i watch content just fine, uploading pictures to sites and apps like tumblr and discord are just a touch slower but nothing like the extreme delay obs is experiencing, and testing my network up and down speeds resulted in normal stats
There’s nothing wrong with my twitch channel, it’s not a temp ban, I don’t have any copyright strikes as far as I know, hell I don’t even really upload vods
it’s just that right now, every time I open OBS and hit go live, the frame rate drop gets WORSE.
My best guess is that the storms are affecting some random server somewhere that’s a critical link to my ability to upload content but I don’t know enough about computers to make that a solid guess
Anyone have any solutions?
oh i should also mention it seems like it’s not just an obs issue, it’s ANYTHING that requires me to have a solid uploading connection
like I can’t screenshare on discord, the facecam doesn’t work on discord, images take a hot second longer to upload…
the problem FEELS like there’s something clogging my ability to upload content, and I don’t know why
I cannot emphasize how the tests for internet speed, download and upload, are FINE. but clearly something’s FUCKED with upload. Something’s lying to me and I don’t know what
