Just Us Girls #771 ~ Happy Easter

Hello there! Check out the cheerful mood board Elizabeth has chosen for this week's Just Us Girls challenge! Isn't it fun? So many possibilities with this one. I picked a few things that inspired me and combined them on my card. Lets take a look!

Those pink stripes reminded me that I had just the perfect paper to use. I die cut it, and a smaller tag, using some favorite PPP tag dies. The smaller of the two was stamped with a pretty little Easter egg by Impression Obsession. I popped these onto a square card base that was embossed (TSM) along with a little strip of pretty PP. Pretty little layers that are in the mail!

Happy Birthday

Hey there! I'm popping in today with a fun little card for the Seize the Birthday challenge. They're looking for layers as their topping this week. I prefer mine in the cake form, but hey this is a cardmaking blog, so paper will have to do!

I've had this little fella in my stash for years. He was a print out from my days on The Creative Paper Trade design team. I layered him up with a MFT peek a boo frame then popped him onto a Reverse Confetti background. Amuse clouds and little doodads by Sizzix provided another layer. 

And there you go friends, my calorie free layers!

Love You a Bunch!

I had a free moment this afternoon and took advantage of it with some time in my wee art studio! I put together this little number for the Freshly Made Sketches and Color Hues challenges.

I went pretty literal with the sketch using s favorite PTI tag die and a cute Stamping Bella/Mo Manning image. This little lady colored up quite well with the given colors of orange and teal, along with just a touch of neutral coloring for her hair. Who wouldn't want to receive a bunch of love and orange tulips from this sweet girl? I embossed some big ol' polka dots on the card base, popped her on and she's ready for her debut in both galleries!

Just Us Girls #770 ~ Love You to the Moon and Back

Hello, my friends I hope you're doing well. It's time for a new challenge at Just Us Girls. Carol Mc is our hostess for word week and she wants to see how the word YOU inspires us. Here's my take on it!

I was in the mood to use some of my vast patterned paper supply. I really need to use it more often, I always like the results! When pulling this October Afternoon floral paper out, I was pleasantly surprised to find this computer sentiment printed on some polka dot paper that coordinated perfectly with it! I die cut that sentiment with a PPP arched die then added a trio of Poppystamps blooms and a couple of leaves from TSM. Couldn't have been easier!
