Hi my name is Michelle. I totally love building houses and furnishing them in Sims 2. I now do recolors too finally. Thanks to all the amazing designers, converters & re-colorists who continue to make it possible to build using fresh new ideas and designs for Sims 2.
I am still alive and have been extremely active in my Sims 2 game but not online building an entire City.
I will be sharing images of it soon and sharing various lots from it for you. Plus recolors I have been doing for those lots.
In the meantime I had a request to do some wood recolors of this table converted by Jinxxsims. Its the Sims 4 Island Living - Holla Living Dining Table.
So I made a new Tumblr community for Sims 2 CC. I thought it would be nice to have a hub for all the content that’s scattered across the simblr community right now.
If you make content for TS2 or just want to lurk and look for new cc, I hope you’ll join.
Also, it’s not like I have a huge following here, so I could use some help getting the word out. Please reblog if you’re interested in helping this grow. :)
Let’s just say.. some of us noobs such as myself need this. ^^;
I’ve been playing this game for 9 years and I had no idea that ESC cancels actions, lol.
All the answers to ‘what the hell did I just make it do now’ from an errant keystroke.
I have been playing since Sims 1 and never knew until recently that holding the Shift key down while building a wall automatically creates a square room

IMPORTANT: TUMBLR HAS MADE A DEAL WITH MIDJOURNEY/OPENAI.
YOUR ART AND IMAGES ON TUMBLR ARE BEING USED TO TRAIN AI MODELS.
The opt-in is automatic, but you can turn it off in settings.
Go to “Blog Settings” -> “Visibility” -> “Third-Party Sharing” and turn on “Prevent third-party sharing for [blog]”. (This post shows how to do it on browser and on mobile.) You need to do this with every sideblog. (Note: The option in settings might not appear if your app hasn’t updated yet. You can still opt out via browser.)
Spread the word. Everyone on Tumblr needs to know about this.
GOOD REMINDER:…and always check back periodically because these sites/apps update and will reset your settings without notification.
After reading and resonating with this post by @lostinpleasantview, I’m curious to know everyone’s pet peeves and expectations when it comes to TS2 CC. If you’d like, let’s have an honest (but respectful) exchange about TS2 CC and the experience of downloading it.
As a downloader, what are the things that creators do or don’t do that annoy you? What do you most wish creators would do to improve their work? Creators, if you are in disagreement with a downloader’s wish, why is what they’re asking not something you are able or willing to do?
I hope as downloaders we can speak our minds freely and as creators we can take in some constructive feedback.
What an excellent post. This helps everyone so much. As a home builder that actually removes unused recolors to reduce the download size I have to say naming files and recolors correctly. Because it takes forever to remove the recolors if they are not named correctly. If you converted and object add the creators name and your user name plus a description of the object. Don’t go wild though and make the description too long. Adding Master or slave at the end helps a lot.
