Maybe because of the New Year’s Eve broadcast on BBC, which always features fireworks at this place.

I took these pictures at the Baker Street tube station in London. The station happily embraces its Sherlock Holmes claim to fame.

Autumn In St James’s Park, London

Houses of Parliament, London
I’m sure you’ve all heard of it, so here it is! Palace of Westminster, also known as the Houses of Parliament.
Big Ben. The tower is actually called Elizabeth Tower and it’s the bell that is named Big Ben. But the whole world knows it as Big Ben. It has recently been renovated, I think it looks pretty, don’t you?

So what’s been happening is that I took a short trip to London (two full days, three nights at a hotel) and, as expected, took a lot of pictures, more than I meant to, actually.
