In the darkness of the autumn night, the room of curiosities seemed alive — scarlet berries on the wreath shimmered like drops of sunset light, the candle flames cast burgundy shadows upon ancient books and bottles of elixirs. She leaned over an old folio, her fingers moving across the pages, awakening the secrets hidden within… In a glass filled with a viscous drink, reminiscent of autumn’s blood, the candlelight flickered, while the air was infused with the aromas of withered leaves and herbs.
