Remember that series of songs I was making for the freakshow au and then completely abandoned? Well, I’ve started working on it again. Not sure how much attention I can give it now that the toon au’s taken off, but I hope to make a song for every character, at least.
This is still a work in progress, especially the middle part.
My current project is taking longer than expected, so uhhh, here’s some super unfinished music!!!

I don’t even know if it sounds good anymore, I’m not thrilled with the Baritone Sax, but I didn’t just want it to be piano for the majority of the song. Oh well.

I’m actually not dissapointed with the rendering here. I think it definitely fits the grungy vibe that Freakshow has, and as long as it’s serviceable I’m happy with it.

That short tune that I made for @sm-baby’s post was supposed to be freakshow!Caine’s motif, so I used it to make his theme.
This au would make such a cool point and click game, and I know I have the tools to do it, but it would also be SO much time and effort and I SUUUUUCCCK at long term projects 😭
I dunno that thought just came to mind while I was making this.

IMMEDIATELY made me think of the tune that could be playing in the background. For this scene in particular there would probably be backing instruments to add more tension, but yeah.
Would also have to add some filler before the main tune so it can play through the whole scene.
I’d say this part of the tune would start playing around the second panel:
Then the song would end on the second to last panel before the punchline, which would be silent with maybe a few sound effects.
