3/24/2025:

I have been working through the weekend to try and catch up with work projects cause I was super sick last week. It's a real bummer as the weather was so beautiful this weekend. I'm just about caught up though so I feel I can breathe easier. Kind of stuck on what to do right now after being in non-stop work mode for about 5 days.

Out here in my apartment complexes parking lot; looking crazy at 2am as I curse at the sky for being overcast. How dare the weather get in the way of my Lunar Eclipse viewing.

The weather is warming up!! AH, so happy to see the sun and feel a warm breeze. It's like my soul is returning to my body. Started reading a lot more, and so many books at once Idk what to do about the "Currently Reading" on my "Bookshelf" page. I've been having such a fun time reading on coffee shop patios with the change of weather. I've also been playing Baldur's Gate in the evenings (Gale lovers unite.). My husband is also excited because the weather changing means new types of mushrooms/fungi in the State Parks. I expect a Mushroom Hike in my future.

2/20/2025:

Still feeling out of sorts but this time I'm antsy. Temps turned below freezing where I am so going outside means PAIN for me, as I have no cold tolerance. I don't have a laundry machine in my Apt. So I have to walk to the Laundry room which is across the complex. Let's just say I have a mountain of launddry that won't be done until this cold snap is over. I also want to work on decluttering my apartment, since we plan on moving with my husband getting into his career. It's hard to want to drive out for buy nothing swaps and donation drop offs when my fingers are numb from the cold.

2/18/2025:

Been out of sorts a of late. Been reading several books at one time but haven't changed my bookshelf since I keep switching up and DNF-ing books too. Haven't touched my app icon project for a week, which IDK how to feel about that. I think the unknown of my current big girl work projects is making me feel funky. I get to go to my friend's in Dallas though for his sister's birthday. I think seeing friends will boost my mood.

2/13/2025:

Found out most of my projects at work are on hold and I don't have any new projects coming in for a while. So, next paycheck may be a little less than usual, and that just stresses me with everything in the world right now. Might be working more on those app icons and getting them onto Etsy just to feel productive.

2/8/2025:

Took my MIL out for an early birthday treat and we got her nails done. The Nail salon was PACKED, so we were in the back. The nail tech was so nice and he joined in on our gossip session. Later when I got home my husband and I started my first run through of "Baldur's Gate 3". I've been looking for something that we do together so this is perfect. Had a wonderful day!

2/7/2025:

Today was D&D night... well it WOULD HAVE BEEN, if our Warlock wasn't Big Smoochin his GF. (Peyton if you see this I am not transmutating your soul back into your Duke/Warlock body, it's staying IN the straw doll.) All jokes aside we still had an amazing night at the DMs house, and we ate really good Baked Mac. Talked about the state of US politics *sigh*, Recession Pop, and a whole lot of Anime recs. It's great finding my people, finally, in my late 20's.

2/6/2025:

I had a nail appointment this morning that I was late to, so I wasn't able to be with my usual tech. So I got put with another tech who couldn't do the nail art I wanted, and made me bleed a lot. *Sigh* this is my punishment for being late, I will never be late for Miss Julie ever again. Now I got to wait 4-5 weeks to get a set I'm super hype about. This time I just got plain bubblegum pink, which is cute, but not what I was aiming for.

2/5/2025:

Went to my favorite local coffee shop this morning, and got a good spot before the morning crowd. Spent a good 2 hours drawing for my Icon Pack project, and it was so fun to go in and out listening to other people's convos. It's nice remembering that there are other people living their own story and for a breif moment I got to listen to a piece of it. I always hope the best for these strangers.

2/1/2025:

I got to see one of my friends today for a Art Hangout. It was an amazing surprise when he surprised me with my other friend, his girlfriend, who was down from NY. I was so happy to see my friends and we had a wonderful evening of sketching at a coffee shop and getting Thai food.
